Mills Motors Buick GMC (formerly Cliff Mills) was proud to present the keys of a Saturn Vue to local high school, R.S. McLaughlin.
The vehicle, donated by General Motors, will be used in the high school’s automotive training program.
“Today, with the advent of high tech electronics and computer equipment in vehicles, an automotive technician must be able to decipher 465,000 pages of technical information contained with the various service manuals,” commented Tim Campbell, General Service Manager for Mills. “That’s the equivalent of 250 big-city phone books.”
With such a demand for knowledge workers, it’s crucial that young people interested in pursuing a career within the automotive technology and engineering sector have the tools and equipment available to them.
Mills Motors Buick GMC and General Motors are proud to support local school programs that prepare the next generation for fulfilling careers within the automotive sector.
